Not so long ago, putting a bottle of rosé into your shopping trolley would probably have earned you a few unsavoury glances, and perish the thought you think of taking it to a dinner party. But recently, more and more drinkers are being tickled pink by this delightful tipple, and in 2015 Sainsbury’s sold enough to fill four Olympic-size swimming pools. With attitudes varying across different UK regions and demographics, survey and Nectar card data were combined to help unscrew the cap on the nations drinking habits.
